Telepsychiatry

The Florida Center for Behavioral Health Improvements and Solutions is one of several hubs throughout the state to participate in a telepsychiatry project to increase the confidence, knowledge and skill sets of pediatric primary care providers to treat children with behavioral health care needs.

Using the collaborative model approach, the Program has currently enrolled seven pediatric practices and served over 400 children/adolescents.

A to Z Pediatrics

Group of pediatric medical providers located in New Port Richey, Florida providing care to patients from birth until the age of 18 years old. North Florida Pediatrics

Viera Pediatrics

Viera Pediatrics began participating in the Telepsychiatry Program in September 2021. This pediatric practice site, provides care to patients from birth until the age of 18 years old and is located in Viera, Florida. Kids’ Corner Pediatrics

Kids’ Corner Pediatrics began participating in the Telepsychiatry Program in September 2021.  This pediatric practice site opened its doors in early November 2020 and is located in Brandon, Florida.  For more information, visit https://www.kidscornerpeds.com/.

Florida Behavioral Health Collaborative Pediatric Hotline: 1-866-487-9507

The Florida Behavioral Health Collaborative Pediatric Hotline provides a wide range of services, including psychotherapeutic medication consultations provided by a child/adolescent psychiatrist. The Pediatric Hotline is coordinated by a care coordinator/resource navigator who makes all necessary referrals and scheduling of appointments to psychiatrists psychosocial treatments and other consultations as required by the individual clinical presentations of each patient. Patient-focused telepsychiatry consultations are available to all providers regardless of insurance carrier caring for children/adolescents up to 21 years old. The hotline is a free resource and calls are answered on non-holiday weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
